There’s nothing like coming home from work, opening the door and smelling something delicious brewing in the crock pot. Recommended by my parents a few years back, Paula Deen’s pot roast recipe is both savory and (surprisingly) healthy. Your friends and family will be pleased.
I think the keys to the recipe are the house seasoning mixture and chardonnay. You can serve the pot roast over potatoes (mashed or baked) or egg noodles, and we enjoy it with gravy (not too thick) made from the juices produced in the crock pot. Enjoy this delightful recipe!
